I'm a literary scholar, educator, and creative writing specialist who believes that Hispanic literature holds transformative power in our increasingly connected world. With a fresh Ph.D. from UC Santa Barbara and years of teaching experience across multiple languages and cultures, I bring both deep scholarly rigor and innovative pedagogical vision to the study of contemporary Hispanic letters.
My research explores how authors navigate between mythological constraints and creative freedom—a tension that mirrors my own approach to academia. I'm equally at home analyzing Torrente Ballester's fantastic narratives and developing cutting-edge digital humanities projects that make literature accessible to new generations of students.
I'm seeking academic positions where I can continue advancing scholarship in contemporary Hispanic literature while pioneering new approaches to language pedagogy and digital literary studies. My goal is simple: to help students and fellow scholars discover the profound relevance of Hispanic literatures in our complex, multilingual, and digitally-mediated world.
Currently preparing for a language assistant role in France and actively developing projects in digital humanities, corpus analysis, and literature.
