Gatissimo is my visual art practice — paintings and mixed-media pieces that live alongside my academic and literary work rather than apart from it. I paint the way I write: drawn to texture, pattern, and the tension between control and instinct.
My practice is grounded in hands-on training across traditions and media, including wheel throwing (The Clay Studio, Santa Barbara), Precolombino craft techniques (Museo Chileno de Arte Precolombino and Artesanías de Chile), and collage and mixed media workshops (Centro Cultural Ricardo Rojas, Buenos Aires).
